Two film producers of the film "Winter on Fire", active servicemen, are returning to the war in eastern Ukraine after the Oscar ceremony in Los Angeles in 2016.
Five years later, veterans, from fragments of memories and their own video archive, they will show why the russian-Ukrainian war became possible in the 21st century.

My name is Stas (Stanislav) I'm 18 y.o, refugee from Ukraine. Since I came here in 2022 I've been very active and co-organised a few demonstrations for Ukraine including one against Shara Wagenknecht. I also spoke several times in support of Ukraine at Fridays FOr Future strikes. Apart from that I'm an actor in a Ukrainian Theater in Halle called "Palyanytsia"
