Es wird viel zu wenig mit Menschen mit Fluchterfahrung gesprochen, dafür sehr viel über sie. Im Erfurter Filmprojekt don't stop motion erzählen Zahra, Muntazar und Ahmad ihre Geschichten selbst. Davon, wie sie ihre Heimat verlassen mussten und was sie in Europa erwartete. Mit eigens hergestellten Puppen, Karton und Stop-Motion haben sie ihre Erfahrungen auf die Leinwand gebracht.
Nach der Filmvorstellung gibt es die Möglichkeit mit Teilen der Filmcrew in Austausch zu kommen - zusätzlich könnte theoretisch auch noch ein Workshop mit Collagen & FreeWriting angeboten werden - das wäre dann aber nochmal plus 1-1,5 Stunden circa .

Far too little is said about people who have experienced flight, but a lot is said about them. In the Erfurt film project don't stop motion, Zahra, Muntazar and Ahmad tell their stories themselves. About how they had to leave their homeland and what awaited them in Europe. They used specially made puppets, cardboard and stop motion to bring their experiences to the screen.
After the film screening, there will be the opportunity to talk to some of the film crew - in theory, a workshop with collages and free writing could also be offered - but that would then take another 1-1.5 hours approximately.

Wir sind ein Filmkollektiv aus Erfurt, das sich 2020 gegründet hat, um die Geschichten von Zahra, Ahmad und Muntazar filmisch aufzuarbeiten. Seit 2022 sind wir mit den fertigem Film in Schulen und soziokulturellen Zentren im ländlichen Raum in Thüringen unterwegs, um über Themen wie Flucht, Migration und Rassismus ins Gespräch zu kommen.
