Fix & Foxi haben beide über mehrere Monate in Lützi gelebt und sich seitdem intensiv theoretisch sowie künstlerisch mit dem Kontrast zwischen dominanten (Medien-) Narrativen und ihren eigenen sowie kollektiven Erfahrungen dort auseinandergesetzt. Als eine Mischung aus Vortrag und Workshop analysieren wir in diesem Beitrag gemeinsam dominate Mediennarrative über autonome Orte am Beispiel Lützeraths. Wie setzen sich diese Narrative zusammen, was sollen sie bewirken, woher kommen sie, und warum sind sie so schwer zu bekämpfen? Zum Schluss diskutieren wir darüber was diese Einsichten über kapitalistische Propaganda im Bezug auf Öffentlichkeitsarbeit für uns bedeuten können.

Fix & Foxi both lived in Lützi for several months and since then have intensively explored the contrast between dominant (media) narratives and their own and collective experiences there, both theoretically and artistically. As a mixture of lecture and workshop, in this contribution we will jointly analyze dominant media narratives about autonomous spaces using the example of Lützerath. How are these narratives composed, what are they supposed to achieve, where do they come from, and why are they so difficult to combat? Finally, we will discuss what such insights into capitalist propaganda might mean for us in terms of public relations work.
