"Sagt uns nicht, wer wir sind!" - Biografisches Schreiben für BI_PoC mit Perspektivwechselpoetry // “Don't Tell Us Who We Are!” - Biographical Writing for BI_PoC with “Perspektivwechselpoetry”
2026-08-20 , 7 - Numbat

How can we express anger, grief, and hatred while at the same time empowering ourselves and others? What power and resilience lie in autobiographical writing? In a safe space, we’ll explore together which events, people, and places have shaped us. Along the way, we’ll gain insights into poetry, prose, and spoken word. The common thread is our experience of everyday discrimination and how we choose to deal with it on our own terms. People whose native language isn’t German are just as welcome and can write in their own language!

The writing workshop aims to show participants accessible techniques for individually exploring formative aspects of their own lives. We want to take an intersectional and queer-feminist approach and give political emotions plenty of space to unfold. Some of the workshop materials will be available in multiple languages (English, Turkish, Arabic, etc.).
