Küfas haben eine lange Tradition in autonomen Kontexten. Nicht zuletzt im Zuge der Vergesellschaftungsdebatte in den letzten Jahren stellt sich mehr und mehr die Frage, wie Ernährung Teil der öffentlichen Daseinsvorsorge sein könnte. In Berlin macht Die Linke Wahlkampf mit der Forderung nach staatlich betriebenen Kiezkantinen. In diesem Workshop wollen wir gemeinsam ins Gespräch kommen, welches Potential solidarische Koch-Projekte über linke Nischen hinaus haben – und darüber diskutieren, wie solidarisches Kochen skalieren kann, ohne vom Staat aufgesogen zu werden.

Community kitchens have a long tradition in autonomous contexts. Not least in the wake of the debate on socialization in recent years, the question of how food could be part of public services is being raised more and more. In Berlin, Die Linke is campaigning on a platform calling for state-run neighborhood canteens. In this workshop, we want to come together to explore the potential that solidarity-based cooking projects have beyond left-wing niches—and discuss how solidarity-based cooking can scale up without being co-opted by the state.
