In linken und autonomen Zusammenhängen wird Care oft mitgedacht, eingefordert oder auf Plena benannt und trotzdem organisieren sich viele Räume weiter nach denselben Logiken, die sie überwinden wollen: Verfügbarkeit, Leistungsdruck, informelle Hierarchien und die Selbstverständlichkeit, dass Sorge- und Reproduktionsarbeit irgendwie mitläuft. Dadurch stellt sich die Frage, für wen politische Räume tatsächlich zugänglich und tragfähig sind und wie wir unserem eigenen Anspruch gerechter werden können. 

Der Workshop lädt dazu ein, Care anders zu denken: Was wäre, wenn solidarische Fürsorge, Mutual Aid und Reproduktionsarbeit nicht bloß Teil, sondern Grundlage politischer Organisierung wären? Wie können Räume entstehen, die Menschen wirklich tragen und kollektive Verantwortungsübernahme ermöglichen? Wie kann das bewusste Anders-Leben von Beziehungen selbst zu einer politischen Praxis werden? Vielleicht beginnt der Bruch mit den Verhältnissen, die wir überwinden wollen, genau dort.​​​​​​​ Wir kommen nicht als Expert*innen, sondern aus eigenen aktivistischen Erfahrungen und Suchbewegungen. Gemeinsam wollen wir Erfahrungen, Bedürfnisse und eigene Erzählungen teilen und uns darüber austauschen, worauf wir beim Aufbau tragender Care-Strukturen achten können, jenseits von Tauschlogiken, vereinzelter Selbstfürsorge und der Hoffnung, dass gemeinsame schöne Räume allein schon ausreichen.

In leftist and autonomous spaces, care is often considered, called for, or named in plenaries, and yet many of these spaces continue to organize themselves according to the very logics they want to overcome: constant availability, pressure to perform, informal hierarchies, and the assumption that care and reproductive labor will somehow just happen in the background. This raises the question of who political spaces are actually accessible and sustainable for, and how we can live up more fully to our own political commitments.

This workshop invites us to think about care differently: What if solidarity, mutual aid, and reproductive labor were not just part of political organizing, but its very foundation? How can spaces emerge that truly sustain people and make collective responsibility possible? How can consciously living relationships differently become a political practice in itself? Maybe the rupture with the conditions we want to overcome begins exactly there. We are not coming as experts, but from our own activist experiences and ongoing processes of searching and learning. Together, we want to share experiences, needs, and personal narratives, and reflect on what to pay attention to when building supportive care structures beyond transactional logics, individualized self-care, and the hope that simply creating nice communal spaces will be enough.
