Wir zeigen den Film „To Kill a War Machine“ (2025), der Palestine Action bei Sabotageaktionen gegen britische Rüstungsunternehmen begleitet. Der Film macht deutlich, warum Aktivist*innen die Kriegsindustrie direkt angreifen, und zeigt die massiven staatlichen Repressionen, mit denen die Bewegung konfrontiert ist.
Im Anschluss möchten wir gemeinsam mit euch über die zunehmende Kriminalisierung politischen Protests diskutieren. Dabei wollen wir auch den Bezug zu aktuellen Entwicklungen in Deutschland herstellen, etwa zum Fall der Ulm 5, und darüber sprechen, wie staatliche Repressionen gegen antifaschistische und solidarische Bewegungen im Kontext eines erstarkenden autoritären und faschistischen gesellschaftlichen Klimas einzuordnen sind.

We will screen the film “To Kill a War Machine” (2025), which accompanies Palestine Action as they carry out acts of sabotage against British arms companies. The film illustrates why activists are directly targeting the war industry and highlights the massive state repression the movement faces.
Afterwards, we’d like to discuss with you the increasing criminalization of political protest. We also want to draw parallels to current developments in Germany—such as the case of the Ulm 5—and talk about how state repression against anti-fascist and solidarity movements fits into the context of a growing authoritarian and fascist social climate.
