Filmvorführung der Kurzfilme von "From ground zero"
„From Ground Zero“ ist eine Kompilation mit 22 Kurzfilmen von Regisseurinnen aus Gaza. Gedreht zwischen Dezember 2023 und März 2024 fangen die zwischen drei und sechs Minuten kurzen Filme individuelle Perspektiven auf die aktuelle Kriegs-Realität in Gaza ein. Mit einem Genremix aus Spielfilm, Dokumentarfilm, Doku-Fiktion, Animation und experimentellem Kino präsentiert From Ground Zero eine Vielfalt an Geschichten, die die Trauer, den Überlebenswillen, die Freude und die Hoffnung widerspiegeln, die dem Leben in Gaza innewohnen.
Das Projekt wurde von Rashid Masharawi, einem international renommierten palästinensischen Filmemacher aus Gaza, ins Leben gerufen.

Screening of the short films from "From Ground Zero"
"From Ground Zero" is a compilation of 22 short films by directors from Gaza. Shot between December 2023 and March 2024, these films—ranging from three to six minutes in length—capture individual perspectives on the current reality of war in Gaza.
Blending genres such as feature film, documentary, docu-fiction, animation, and experimental cinema, From Ground Zero presents a diverse array of stories that reflect the grief, the will to survive, the joy, and the hope inherent in life in Gaza.
The project was launched by Rashid Masharawi, an internationally renowned Palestinian filmmaker from Gaza.
