Viele Leute halten nichts vom Kapitalismus.
Damit stehen wir nicht allein. Schließlich hat der Begriff Kapitalismus zumindest in Deutschland selbst in den Tageszeitungen einen schlechten Beigeschmack und es wird lieber von „sozialer Marktwirtschaft“ gesprochen. Und nicht nur Linke haben was gegen Kapitalismus, sondern immer wieder finden sich auch bei Nazis Gruppierungen, die sich in Abgrenzung zum Kapitalismus einen nationalen Sozialismus auf die Fahnen geschrieben haben.
Unsere Kritik am Kapitalismus lässt sich wie folgt zusammenfassen:
Der Kapitalismus ist ein Wirtschaftssystem, das der Bedürfnisbefriedigung sehr vieler Leute entgegensteht. Das materielle und auch viel psychisches Leid in dieser Gesellschaft ist kein „Fehler“ und auch kein „Versagen“ des Systems oder einzelner Akteur*innen, sondern notwendige Folge, warum und wie gewirtschaftet wird. Mit dieser Kritik stehen wir leider ziemlich allein.
Im Workshop wollen wir unsere Kritik begründen und zur Diskussion stellen.

An Introduction to the Critique of Capitalism
Many people don’t think much of capitalism.
We are not alone in this. After all, at least in Germany, the term “capitalism” has negative connotations even in daily newspapers, and people prefer to speak of a “social market economy.” And it is not only those on the left who oppose capitalism; time and again, there are also Nazi groups that have adopted “national socialism” as their cause in opposition to capitalism.
Our critique of capitalism can be summarized as follows:
Capitalism is an economic system that stands in the way of satisfying the needs of a great many people. The material—and also, to a large extent, psychological—suffering in this society is neither a “mistake” nor a “failure” of the system or of individual actors, but rather a necessary consequence of why and how the economy is managed. Unfortunately, we stand pretty much alone with this critique.
In this workshop, we want to explain the basis for our critique and open it up for discussion.
