Kochen ist Care-Arbeit, gemeinsam Essen kann Menschen zusammenbringen und konkret helfen, insbesondere auch in rauer werdenden Zeiten. Solidarische Koch-Projekte haben großes Potential für System Change direkt in den ­Nachbarschaften. In diesem Workshop stellen sich mehrere Initiativen vor, darunter die Küfa Saarbrücken, die ada_kantine aus Frankfurt und die Kantine für Alle aus Kassel. Außerdem stellt Faba Konzepte den Werkzeugkasten für die Gründung und den Betrieb von solidarischen Quartierskantinen. Der Workshop ist ein Austauschraum für bestehende Küfas, ein Anlaufpunkt für Interessierte und eine Einladung zum jungen Quartierskantinen-Netzwerk, das seit Anfang des Jahres entsteht.

Cooking is a form of care work; eating together can bring people closer and provide help, especially in these increasingly difficult times. Solidarity-based cooking projects have great potential for systemic change right in our neighborhoods. In this workshop, several initiatives will introduce themselves, including Küfa Saarbrücken, ada_kantine from Frankfurt, and Kantine für Alle from Kassel. In addition, Faba Konzepte introduces a toolkit for establishing and operating community-based neighborhood canteens. The workshop serves as a forum for existing neighborhood canteens, a point of contact for those interested, and an invitation to join the emerging network of neighborhood canteens, which has been taking shape since the beginning of the year.
