Die Selbstverwaltung von Nord und Ostsyrien auch bekannt als Rojava wurde Anfang des Jahres 2026 im Januar von der sogenannten Übergangs Regierung HTS (Hayat Tahrir al-Sham unter Ahmad al Scharaa (al-Jolani) angegriffen. Die Verhandlungen über eine Integration der Selbstverwaltung in den syrischen Staat endeten abrupt und es begann eine Großoffensive gegen die Revolution in Syrien. Verschiedene Akteure, sowie Imperiale Kräfte hatten ein Auge auf diese brutalen Kriegshandlungen und versprachen sich daraus eigene Vorteile. Die militärische Eskalation begann bei zwei kurdischen Viertel Şêxmeqsûd und Aşrafiyê in Aleppo und breiteten sich von da aus rasant aus. Einen Großteil von den Selbstverwalteten Gebieten wurden eingenommen, doch der Widerstand hält an. Am 19. Januar wird eine Generalmobilmachung ausgerufen, Frauen, jugendliche, die Gesellschafft verteidigt sich selbst. Auch wir folgen diesem Aufruf und machen uns auf den Weg nach Rojava um die Revolution mit zu verteidigen. Wie dies aussah, was wir erlebt und erfahren haben wollen wir mit euch teilen. Genauso diskutieren, wie die aktuelle Lage ist und wie die Ideen und Gedanken der Revolution auch hier gelebt und umgesetzt werden können.

The Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria also known as Rojava, was attacked in early January 2026 by the so-called transitional government HTS (Hayat Tahrir al-Sham under Ahmad al Sharaa (al-Jolani). Negotiations on the integration of the self-administration into the Syrian state ended abruptly and a major offensive against the revolution in Syria began. Various actors, as well as Imperial forces, had an eye on these brutal acts of war and expected their own advantages from them. The military escalation began in two Kurdish districts of Şêxmeqsûd and Aşrafiyê in Aleppo and spread rapidly from there. A large part of the self-governing areas has been taken, but the resistance continues. On January 19, a general mobilization is called, women, young people, society defends itself. We also followed this call and made our way to Rojava to defend the revolution. We want to share with you what this looked like, what we experienced and experienced. Frauenrevolution in Rojava. Wie sieht eine Revolution in Kriegszeiten aus, wie reagieren die Menschen, was ist die Perspektive, Hoffnung? Diese Themen wollen wir unter anderem durch einen Erfahrungsbericht, eventuell Doku und eine Broschüre besprechen. Außerdem wollen wir über die aktuelle Situation sprechen und was wir von der Revolution lernen können. Dafür wollen wir in einen Austausch kommen, in dem es möglich ist Fragen zu stellen, eigenes Wissen mit einzubringen.

The Women’s Revolution in Rojava. What does a revolution look like in times of war? How do people react? What are the prospects and hopes? We want to discuss these topics through, among other things, a firsthand account, possibly a documentary, and a brochure. We also want to talk about the current situation and what we can learn from the revolution. To that end, we want to engage in a discussion where people can ask questions and contribute their own knowledge.
