Wolltest du schon immer 'ne Runde Ball auf der Bundesstraße spielen oder linke Anliegen durch eine gewagte öffentliche Aktion (und) in der Presse pushen?
Versammlungsrecht macht vieles möglich, was sonst nicht oder schwerer geht – u.a. das System Change Camp –, aber nur, wenn wir es nutzen, verteidigen, weiterentwickeln und um Freiräume kämpfen ✊
Egal, wie du zu Demos stehst und was du Protest-mäßig in der Öffentlichkeit treibst, du wirst vmtl. öfter als dir Recht ist mit Versammlungsrecht und wilden Behauptungen der Pozilei dazu konfrontiert sein. Klar, mit Waffen am Gürtel ist Team Blau das Recht auch gern mal egal, aber überraschend oft hilft eine informierte Diskussion über Versammlungsrecht trotzdem weiter. Und das gilt umso mehr für Eilanträge beim Verwaltungsgericht und Gerichtsverfahren wegen Protesten.
Darum wollen wir in diesem Aufbau-Workshop tiefer in versammlungsrechtliche Themen einsteigen, um versierter und effektiver damit arbeiten zu können.

Vorwissen: Es wäre als Teilnehmer:in gut, schon zu wissen,
- was eine Versammlung ist,
- dass und wie sie i.d.R. angemeldet wird und
- was das Versammlungsrecht ganz grob bedeutet.

No matter how you feel about demonstrations or what kind of public protest activities you’re involved in, you’ll probably find yourself confronted with the right to assembly legislation—and the police’s wild claims about it—more often than you’d like. Sure, with guns on their belts, team Blue might not always care about the law, but surprisingly often, an informed discussion about the right to assembly still helps. And that’s even more true for assembly notifications, urgent motions filed with the administrative court, and court proceedings related to protests.
That is why, in this practical workshop, we want to explore issues relating to the law on public assemblies in greater depth, so that we can deal with them more skilfully and effectively.

Prior knowledge: As a participant, it would be helpful to already know
- what a public assembly is,
- that it usually needs to be notified, and how this is done, and
- what the law on public assemblies broadly entails.
