Your Workshop at LiMA26
Do you have experience teaching media-related topics—whether through seminars or workshops, online or in person? At LiMA, activists, media professionals, and engaged individuals from civil society, politics, and labor unions come together to learn practical communication and media skills. We look forward to your workshop proposal! For now, your information will only be shared with LiMA staff and will not be published until you have given your approval. Please note that our focus is on media-related topics.
Your answers don’t have to be perfect, but they will serve as a draft for the texts that will later be included in the program. Feel free to use the workshop descriptions from the
** LiMA25 program. You’ll also find a basic How-To for Workshop Descriptions ** here, which you can use for a little inspiration.
About the fee:
We want to pay fair fees. At the same time, we unfortunately can’t pay much right now, since funding for LiMAweek was discontinued this year and LiMA26 is therefore not fully funded. LiMA is a completely independent nonprofit organization without institutional funding or large donations. That’s why you can choose your own fee up to a maximum amount once your workshop has been confirmed. Of course, the amount has no impact on approval, and it’s absolutely fine if you specify the maximum amount.
For a workshop with a single instructor, the maximum fee is €350 for a one-day workshop. For a workshop with two instructors, it is €250. We know how precarious freelance work in the media sector can be and recommend that you choose the maximum fee if you rely on fees for income. Thank you for your understanding!
You can find our information on transparency and finances here.
Thank you very much, we look forward to your submission! :)
