Discovering the world beyond the West
Sham Jaff

Thousands of local news outlets report important stories every day, yet most never reach international audiences. In this workshop, we’ll explore news outlets from Africa, Asia, and the Americas together, uncover overlooked stories, and discuss how different perspectives shape our understanding of the world. Participants will leave with practical tools and a curated list of sources for finding underreported stories.
