Die Bedingungen, in denen wir politisch aktiv sind, werden schwieriger. Aber was folgt daraus für emanzipatorisches Handeln heute? Unterschiedliche Vorstellungen von Kollaps formen unsere Strategie: Bereiten wir uns auf die Katastrophen von morgen vor, oder kämpfen wir um das, was noch zu retten ist? Bauen wir Krisenfähigkeit auf, oder verschieben wir Kräfteverhältnisse? Lassen sich Vorsorge und Widerstand zusammendenken?
The circumstances for political activism are getting harder. What does that mean for emancipatory action today? Different visions of collapse shape our strategy: Do we prepare ourselves for the catastrophes of tomorrow or do we fight for the things that are still salvable? Do we build resilience or do we shift balances of power? Is it possible to connect prevention and resistance?
Wir diskutieren vier konkrete Handlungsansätze um in den Krisen von heute und morgen gemeinsam handlungsfähig zu sein:
- Jo von der Solidarischen Klimahilfe will von Hochwasser betroffene Gemeinden unterstützen sich selbst zu helfen und sich zu resilienteren und krisenfesteren Gemeinschaften zu entwickeln.
- Lena vom Klima*Kollektiv ist Teil der Wasserbewegung. Sie organisiert Flusscamps und will sowohl mit lokaler Vorsorge als auch mit politischer Intervention und Massenaktion eine Gegenmacht in Brandenburg aufbauen.
Tashy vom Zentrum für Transformatives Organizing ist Organizerin und Trainerin in Sozialen Bewegungen, derzeit aktiv in Deutsche Wohnen & Co Enteignen. Geprägt ist sie u. a. von der Erwerbs- und Landlosenbewegung in Buenos Aires und Occupy Wall Street in New York. - Basti von der Interventionistischen Linken Berlin findet die Kollapsbewegung oft antigesellschaftlich und will den Kampf gegen Faschismus und Kapital nicht aufgeben.
We will discuss four different approaches for action. All of them aim to preserve our collective capacity to act facing the crises of today and tomorrow:
- Jo from Solidarische Klimahilfe wants to help municipalities affected by floods to help themselves so they develop into resilient communities.
- Lena from Klima*Kollektiv is part of the water movement. She organizes river camps and wants to build countervailing power in Brandenburg through both local prevention and political intervention.
- Tashy from Zentrum für Transformatives Organizing acts as organizer and trainer for social movements. Currently, she is part of Deutsche Wohnen & Co Enteignen. She was affected by the unemployed workers movement in Buenos Aires and Occupy Wall Street in New York amongst others.
- Basti from Interventionistische Linke Berlin often finds the collapse movement antisocietal. Basti does not want to give up the fight against fascism and capital.
