"Meine Familie wurde 1948 aus Palästina vertrieben….."

Der Frieden ist fern zwischen Palästinenserinnen und Israelinnen. Der Schmerz unerträglich. Die Taten unentschuldbar. Seit 75 Jahren wurden Millionen Palästinenserinnen vertrieben, die Verbliebenen leben in Unterdrückung und fühlen sich wie in einem Apartheid-Staat. Seit dem 7. Oktober wurden 38.000 Palästinenserinnen durch die Regierung Netanjahu und das Militär Israels getötet. Auch viele Israelinnen sind gegen diese Taten. Es gibt keine Ausrede dagegen nichts zu sagen. 2.500 Israelinnen starben bislang in dem Krieg. Insgesamt 40.500 Menschen zu viel. Die Geiselnahmen und Getöteten der Hamas sind unentschuldbar. Kann es sein, dass nationalistische Gedanken eine Ursache für Hass, Gewalt und Machteifer sind?
Jeder Mann ist der Sohn einer Tochter. Können dies die Menschen in dem Gebiet zwischen dem Jordan und Mittelmeer, können wir es irgendwann wieder erkennen?
Was passiert, wenn wir anfangen die Welt ohne Ismen zu denken? Und anfangen die Traumata, Schicksale und Bedürfnisse der Menschen zu sehen?
Nein zu Rassimus, Antisemitismus, Islamophobie und Judenfeindlichkeit. Ja zur Menschlichkeit. Ja zur Demut noch nicht alles über diesen Konflikt zu wissen. Ja zum Aussprechen, was wirklich wichtig ist. Nein zu faschistisch motivierten Taten.

Wir werden taub, wenn wir nicht denen zuhören, die wir verurteilen.
Wir werden blind, wenn wir nur dahin blicken, wo wir uns bereits gesehen fühlen.
Wir lassen unsere Herzen verkümmern, wenn wir nicht die Hand den Kindern des Feindes reichen.
Wir können nicht in Freiheit leben, wenn nicht alle frei sind.
Frei von Feindbildern, frei von Hass, frei von Ungerechtigkeit.

In der Performance werden viele Stimmen vor allem von Palästinenserinnen aber auch von Israeliinnen zu hören sein. Ausschnitte aus der Geschichte dieses komplexen Konfliktes werden in den Biografien der einzelnen Charaktere dargestellt.

Anschließend gibt es einen Austauschraum.

Peace is far away between Palestinians and Israelis. The pain is unbearable. The deeds are inexcusable. For 75 years, millions of Palestinians have been displaced, those who remain live in oppression and feel like they are living in an apartheid state. Since 7 October, 38,000 Palestinians have been killed by the Netanyahu government and the Israeli military. Many Israelis are also against these acts. There is no excuse not to speak out. 2,500 Israelis have died in the war so far. A total of 40,500 people too many. The hostage-takings and deaths of Hamas are inexcusable. Could it be that nationalistic thoughts are a cause of hatred, violence and lust for power?
Every man is the son of a daughter. Can the people in the area between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea recognise this at some point?
What happens when we start to think of the world without isms? And begin to see the traumas, fates and needs of the people?
No to racism, anti-Semitism, Islamophobia and hostility towards Jews. Yes to humanity. Yes to the humility of not yet knowing everything about this conflict. Yes to saying what is really important. No to acts motivated by fascism.

We become deaf if we do not listen to those we condemn.
We become blind if we only look where we already feel seen.
We let our hearts wither if we do not reach out to the children of the enemy.
We cannot live in freedom if we are not all free.
Free from enemy images, free from hatred, free from injustice.

Many voices will be heard in the performance, especially from Palestinians, but also from Israelis. Excerpts from the history of this complex conflict will be presented in the biographies of the individual characters.
