Die Filmemacher:innen begleiten über 18 Monate lang Aktivist:innen rund um das KlimaCamp im Altdorfer Wald. Protest und ziviler Ungehorsam stoßen in Oberschwaben bei den meisten Büger:innen auf Unverständnis und offene Ablehnung, auch wenn es um den Erhalt der natürlichen Lebensgrundlagen geht. Nun regt sich im Kletteraktivismus eine neue Form des Widerstands, die aber gerichtlich unnachgiebig verfolgt wird.

Zunehmend erkennt die Bevölkerung, dass es um Kies, Trinkwasser und Mitbestimmung über den "Alti" geht, der als Staatswald eigentlich allen gehört.

The filmmakers follow activists around the climate camp in Altdorf Forest for over 18 months. Protest and civil disobedience are met with incomprehension and open rejection by most citizens in Upper Swabia, even when it comes to preserving the natural foundations of life. A new form of resistance is now emerging in climbing activism, but it is being relentlessly pursued in the courts.

The population is increasingly recognising that it is about gravel, drinking water and co-determination over the "Alti", which as a state forest actually belongs to everyone.
