Das aktuelle Ernährungssystem ist ungerecht und trägt zu Umwelt- und Klimazerstörung bei. Oft werden die Konsument*innen dafür verantwortlich gemacht: Wenn nur alle bewusster einkaufen würden, dann wäre das Problem gelöst.

Wir sind überzeugt: Eine gute Ernährung für alle lässt sich nicht bloß durch individuelle Konsumveränderungen herstellen. Es braucht dafür vielmehr kollektive Lösungen. Daher haben wir in Kassel dieses Jahr die Kantine für Alle gegründet!

Die „Kantine für Alle“ ist unsere Antwort auf soziale Ungerechtigkeit, eine durchkommerzialisierte Innenstadt und ein klimaschädliches Ernährungssystem. Jeden Dienstagabend öffnen wir unsere Türen und verköstigen bis zu 80 Leute mit leckerem Essen. Unser Beitrag zu einem klimagerechten Ernährungssystem: wir kochen pflanzenbasiert und mit regionalen ökologischen sowie geretteten Lebensmitteln.

In diesem Workshop stellen wir euch unsere Analyse und unser Projekt vor. Und wir wollen uns mit euch austauschen, über eure Küfas (Küche für Alle) oder andere ernährungsbezogene Projekte. Und wie wir als Bewegung dazu beitragen könnten, dass die Ernährungswende von unten weiter an Fahrt aufnimmt.

The current food system is unjust and contributes to environmental and climate destruction. Consumers are often blamed for this: if only everyone shopped more consciously, the problem would be solved.

We are convinced that good nutrition for all cannot be achieved through individual changes in consumption alone. Rather, collective solutions are needed. That's why we founded the Canteen for All in Kassel this year!

The "Canteen for All" is our response to social injustice, a commercialised city centre and a food system that is harmful to the climate. We open our doors every Tuesday evening and feed up to 80 people with delicious food. Our contribution to a climate-friendly food system: we cook plant-based and with regional organic and rescued food.

In this workshop we will present our analysis and our project. And we want to exchange ideas with you about your Küfas (Kitchen for All) or other food-related projects. And how we as a movement can help to ensure that the grassroots food revolution continues to gain momentum.
