Nicholas Omonuk is a climate activist from one of the pastoral tribes in eastern Uganda.
Nicholas's immediate surroundings bore witness to the grim realities of climate change, fueling his passion to become a climate activist. He believed there had to be a way to prevent such catastrophic climate events from recurring. Initially, he took a courageous step by participating in climate justice strikes, driven by the hope that his community would no longer have to endure the same trials repeatedly.
