Gerade in Zeiten des Rechtsrucks braucht mensch hin und wieder mal eine Möglichkeit sich möglichst anonym und sicher im Internet zu bewegen, die eigenen Daten vor Behörden zu schützen oder verschlüsselt mit Journalisten zu kommunizieren. Dafür gibt es das Betriebssystem "Tails", welches man recht einfach auf einem USB-Stick installieren und dann an (fast) jedem Computer verwenden kann. Tails wir unter anderem von Edward Snowden empfohlen.

In dem Vortrag stelle ich Euch Tails vor, zeige Euch was es kann (und was nicht), wie Ihr selber Euren eigenen Tails-USB-Stick erstellt und was Ihr dafür braucht und wenn dann noch Zeit ist, können wir gerne noch ein bisschen über gute Praxis im Umgang mit der digitalen Welt quatschen.

Tails - Introduction to the anonymous and secure operating system for your pocket

Especially in times of a shift to the right, every now and then people need a way to navigate the internet as anonymously and securely as possible, to protect their own data from the authorities or to communicate with journalists in encrypted form. There is the “Tails” operating system, which is easy to install on a USB stick and can then be used on (almost) any computer. Tails is recommended by Edward Snowden, among others.

In the talk, I will introduce you to Tails, show you what it can (and cannot) do, how you can create your own Tails USB stick and what you need for it, and if there is still time, we can chat a bit about good practice in dealing with the digital world.
