Städte sind total chaotisch und ermöglichen viel schönes, aber auch viel... nicht so schönes. Was wird aus ihnen in einer utopischeren Gesellschaft? Brauchen wir sie noch? Wohin mit Fernverkehr, medizinischer Versorgung, und Kulturzentren?
Nach einem Input zu Stadtplanung und Vorstellungen von utopischem Zusammenleben, beschäftigen wir uns gemeinsam, was wir aus unseren zukünftigen Städten haben wollen.

Cities are totally chaotic and make a lot of nice things possible, but also a lot of... not so nice things. What's gonna happen to them in a more utopian society? Will we still need them? What about long distance public transport, medical care, and cultural centres?
After some input on Urban Design and how we might picture our utopian future together, we'll discuss what we're gonna want from our utopian cities.
Zu Anfang gibt es Inputs zu Stadtplanung und zu Vorstellungen utopischen Zusammenlebens. Fokus dabei ist die Frage, wie das Bedürfnis nach Community mit dem Bedürfnis nach Versorgung und Freiheit in die Welt zu vereinen sind. Danach wird in Kleingruppen ausgetauscht: welche Bedürfnisse habe ich und wie stelle ich mir sowas eigentlich vor? Wir tragen das ganze dann zusammen und werten aus. Wenn Zeit bleibt, gibt es Diskussion in großer oder kleiner Runde (je nach Wunsch der Beteiligten).

We’ll start with presentations on urban planning and visions of utopian coexistence. The focus will be on how to reconcile the need for community with the need for self-sufficiency and freedom in the world. Afterward, we’ll discuss in small groups: What are my needs, and how do I actually envision something like this? We’ll then compile and evaluate all the input. If there’s time left, there will be a discussion in a large or small group (depending on the participants’ preferences).
