Creative Tactics in Activism Part 1 & 2

Fossil Free Culture NL is a collective of artists and activists working at the intersection of art and climate activism.
We engage in Strategic Artistic Disobedience to build a Fossil Free Future that is feminist, anti-racist, intergenerational, diverse, queer, and decolonial. Our founding goal is to end oil and gas sponsorship of public cultural institutions in the Netherlands, and more broadly, to critically erode social license for the fossil fuel industry.

In the first part of the workshop we will together explore creative tactics that have been used by Fossil Free Culture NL and various other collectives working at the intersection of arts and activism. We will then create ideas and work on new artistic actions for the struggles and topics important to participants.

Wir sind ein noch junges Netzwerk an Menschen, die sich auf unterschiedliche Weise mit Kunst im Aktivismus und Aktivismus in der Kunst beschäftigen. In unserem Programm wollen wir uns damit auseinandersetzen, wie Kunst politische und gesellschaftliche Veränderungen bewirken kann.
Wir wollen euch in verschiedenen Workshops künstlerische Skills und Praktiken vermitteln und wollen zeigen, wie Kunst und Kultur helfen können, sich zu regenerieren und nachhaltig politisch aktiv zu bleiben.
