This collaborative workshop will explore the transformative potential of conflict and conflict resolution skills in our political organising communities. We will address how white supremacy culture has moved us away from healthy conflict skills, and explore how our relationships impact our communities and our liberation work. Another focus of the workshop is accountability work, exploring different types of responses to conflict, self-reflection and learning practical communication tools such as giving feedback and giving an apology.
Good conflict in community: exploring the generative potential of conflict in our political organising spaces. come together to explore why conflict is important and how our relationships impact our resistance work, and practice helpful tools for communication around conflict!

Ari (they/them) and Sophia (they/she) are community organisers dedicated to exploring the transformative potential of conflict in our political spaces. Their work is informed by an abolitionist and transformative justice approach that believes that how we relate to each other in our interpersonal relationships directly impacts our political struggles, and therefor we need to practice getting "better" at generative conflict with each other!
