This intermedial artsy workshop is for the radical softies: those who refuse to harden their hearts in a world that demands complicity.
We explore grief not just as personal loss, but as a political force and source of community. We grieve for loved ones, for lives unlived, for social injustice, and for the world burning. In a system that profits from our desensitization and demands we ignore systemic violence and genocide, feeling deeply is an act of sabotage. Beneath grief lies care, compassion, and love – the very foundations of resistance. Instead of repressing these emotions, we will acknowledge them, hold them, and transform them into self-awareness and collective coherence. Through art, we will touch grief, anxiety, anger, hate, and love. We will practice staying radically soft in a hard world.
This workshop is open to all, with a special welcome for marginalized voices. No artistic experience is required. The space is trauma-sensitive, queer-affirming, neuro-informed, and decolonial.
