Alagie Jinkang - Alagie Jinkang is a refugee who arrived in Italy in 2014 and obtained a PhD in Human Rights at the University of Palermo, following which he worked for 5 years at the University of Bologna as a scholar. He has dedicated himself to migrant activism since he arrived, cofounding several associations. Since 2024, he decided to go back to his village in rural Gambia, with the aim of constructingan agroecological farm to contrast food scarcity, environmental degradation and youth unemployment
